Maria Manion

Maria is chief executive of Cambridge Business Improvement District, and leads a small dedicated team of 12 staff responsible for delivering a range of high profile activities and projects across the city, including Visit Cambridge, the Love Cambridge gift card and the Christmas lights.

Prior to taking up the role in Cambridge, Maria spent nine years in Watford, seven of those as chief executive at Watford BID. Maria has extensive experience in both urban and rural regeneration having worked in Newcastle, Northumberland, and as a consultant while living in Italy.

Maria is chair of the Eastern BIDs group and represents the city’s interests nationally via the British BIDs Board.
