Stories of selfless service, amazing achievements, devoted care and limitless courage warmed the hearts of an audience of 160 people at the Indies Community Awards 2025.
The Hilton Marquee at Bishop’s Stortford rugby club was the venue on Friday January 23 for the seventh staging of the annual event organised by the Bishop’s Stortford Independent, which was live streamed via Facebook to thousands more watching at home.
Nominees, their guests, sponsors, civic dignitaries and employees of Indie publisher Iliffe Media gathered as host and Indie editor Paul Winspear revealed the winners in 16 categories, their stories told in videos filmed by James Garrett of HNE Media.
