It's time to honour and pay tribute to yet another band of local heroes in our 2026 Indies Community Awards - but first we need YOUR nominations.
We're inviting you to put forward your champions across 16 categories that recognise selfless service to the community, courage in the face of adversity, compassionate care and amazing achievement.
For the eighth staging of the event, on Friday, January 22, 2027, we are moving to a new home: the magnificent and stately Down Hall Hotel, Spa & Estate at Hatfield Heath.
On the night, up to 160 nominees, their guests, sponsors, civic dignitaries and employees of Indie publisher Iliffe Media will gather as host and Indie editor Paul Winspear reveals the winners. The event will be live-streamed via Facebook to thousands more watching at home.
