Nicola writes a food and recipe column for Suffolk News and an award-winning newsletter called Topographic Kitchens. She won the Fortnum & Mason Cookery Writer of the Year award for her work in 2022 and in 2020, she was named the Guild of Food Writers' Online Writer of the Year. The Guardian, Observer Food Monthly, Waitrose, Pit Magazine, Delicious, and National Geographic Food are just some of the publications she has written for. She lives in Bury St Edmunds with her husband, who knows not to start eating until she has photographed his plate.
