The New Forest Fruit Company, established in 2008 and run by farmer and innovator Sandy Booth and his two brothers-in-law, grows, packs and distributes around 5,000 tonnes of fresh fruit and asparagus every year. In addition to its commercial growing and packaging of soft fruit and asparagus, as an innovative and sustainable business, they have also launched two exciting projects: New Forest Fruit Snacks and The B58 Winery. The award-winning pulse-dried snacks tackle the issue of food waste, transforming wonky and misshapen strawberries and raspberries into delicious 100% fruit snacks with nothing added. The B58 winery produces still wines from grape varieties not usually successfully grown in the U.K and was awarded IWSC, IEWA and Wine GB Wessex medals in its first year.
