Mary Reader

Mary Reader is the Founder of the Highcliffe Food and Arts Festival and worked for many years in the energy industries organising cookery demonstrations and supporting schools. She helped to set up the first BBC Good Food Shows and ran the backstage area of the celebrity theatres. She later ran her own PR and Marketing business related to food and equipment. In the year 2000 as President of Christchurch Chamber of Trade and Commerce, she founded Christchurch Food Festival. She then went on to start Highcliffe Food and Arts Festival, which she still chairs.
