Dr Nazanin Zand

Dr Nazanin Zand is an internationally recognised expert in infant nutrition and food science with extensive peer-reviewed publications. Based at the University of Greenwich, she works with multinational corporations and regional SMEs, optimising nutritional quality and implementing food safety systems.

Holding GFSI Lead Auditor certification, she oversees laboratory accreditation at university level. Nazanin is also actively engaged in public health, serving as an honorary NHS staff member and independent Councillor in her community. A Fellow of the Institute of Food Science & Technology (FIFST) and Food Standards Agency registered specialist, she contributes to leading journals and has featured across BBC, Channel 4, and Channel 5 as a food science expert.
